One of the most uplifting statements Jesus made concerning His disciples is when He said, on the Sermon on the Mount, that we are the Light of the World (Matthew 5:14). How can this be? Surely, Jesus meant to say that He is the light of the world – not us! But, in truth, He called you and me the light this world needs.
Our society is looking for light, and at the same time the world system is trying to extinguish our light.
